Singer Mika Nakashima 33 concert tour at 2011

In October, singer Mika Nakashima had to cancel four concerts due to hearing problems caused by a rare health condition. At the time, she began receiving treatment with the goal of recovering in time for a concert tour scheduled for next spring. It has now been announced that she plans to proceed with that tour, as details were revealed on her official website.

The tour will last three months, starting on April 22 and ending on July 19, with a total of 33 concerts at 27 venues across Japan. Four of the shows will be in Tokyo: two at the Tokyo International Forum in May and two at NHK Hall in July.

Mika Nakashima released new single Ichiban kireina watashi o

Female singer Mika Nakashima will release a new single on August 25th. The single will be called Ichiban kireina watashi o and will be used as the theme song for the drama "Unubore keiji". The song is described as a love song featuring piano.

Next to the title track, it will contain a remix of the song by REGGAE DISCO ROCKERS and an instrumental version. The limited edition of the single will also contain a DVD featuring the music video of Ichiban kirena watashi o.

Mika Nakashima new single Always

Pop singer Mika Nakashima has planned the release of a new single, called ALWAYS, for January 20th.

ALWAYS, a song composed and written by Momota Rui, has been chosen as one of the theme songs of the upcoming movie "Sayonara Itsuka". The movie is scheduled to be released on January 23rd, only three days after the single drops.

BABY BABY BABY (with lyrics by Mika herself and music by Ryosuke ”Dr.R” Sakai) and SPIRAL (lyrics by Mika and Miyazaki Ayumi and music by RED-T) will both serve as b-sides. A special calendar design by the singer will also be available to those who purchase the first press of the single.
