new photos show just why Khloe Kardashian was so thrilled at the special efforts her husband Lamar Odom made to celebrate their first wedding anniversary.

The shots feature the 26-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star blindfolded and being led out of her car by an assistant to renew her marriage vows with the L.A. Lakers basketball star.

The new photos also show a casually dressed Lamar looking a little nervous as he arrived at the venue.

While another shot features Khloe with blindfold removed, clutching a bouquet of white roses.

'I can only think of one word to describe my anniversary yesterday...magical!' Khloe later posted on her blog.

'Lamar's big surprise (well one of many surprises) was the renewal of our vows! How romantic is that?! Everything was planned perfectly and I could not have been more surprised.

Malika blindfolded me and brought me to a "secret location", I literally had NO idea where we were going.

'When we arrived, the car door opened and Lamar took my hand and led me to the spot where we were married one year ago.'

'He removed the blindfold and I was just speechless - I was beyond in shock.

'I knew he had a few fun surprises up his sleeve but I never could have anticipated this. I have never been more obsessed with my husband.'

A year ago today was the day I married the man of my dreams! Happy Anniversary baby! You are my heart... I love you!' she added on her Twitter account.

Married a mere month after their courtship, the couple have made no secret of their desire for a family.

Getting pregnant is much harder than we thought - but practising making babies is amazing,' Khloe told Life & Style magazine.

'I thought I'd be pregnant by now. We've been working at it all year,' she added.

She might not have had much time to prep for her wedding, but Khloe Kardashian still managed to find the perfect white wedding dress for her marriage to L.A. The youngest Kardashian sister looked every bit the blushing bride in a body-hugging white strapless dress, cinched with a jeweled powder-blue sash that flowed elegantly into a massive train of soft tulle.

Meanwhile,the bridesmaids are wearing purple gowns with a mermaid hem.

Further to the earlier report about Khloe Kardashian and her NBA beau Lamar Odom getting engaged, there is now speculation about a wedding this Sunday.

The reality star is in such a rush, she's reportedly tying the knot with Los Angeles Lakers player Lamar Odom this coming weekend, says People.

The invitations are said to be going out later in the week and the wedding itself is said to be taking place on Sunday 27 Sept. 2009.

Sister Kim Kardashian says that she thinks Khloe and Lamar make a great couple. “They’re very, very happy. They are literally inseperable. Khloe thinks he’s amazing and makes her laugh and smile constantly.”

Kardashian, 25, and Odom, 29, met at a party in L.A. and had only been dating a month before rumors of impending nuptials began swirling around mid-September.

Kardashian recently appeared alongside her sister Kourtney in "Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami." In August, Kourtney announced she was pregnant by ex-boyfriend Scott Disick. They also appeared with sister Kim and the rest of the family in "Keeping Up With the Kardashians."
