It's been 70 days since his last arrest -- and actor Tom Sizemore is already back behind bars!
Actor Tom Sizemore has been arrested in downtown Los Angeles on suspicion of domestic violence, the Los Angeles Police Department said today.
Police were called to the 100 block of Beaudry Avenue about 10:45 p.m. on Wednesday responding to a domestic violence call. Tom Sizemore remains in jail today in lieu of $20,000 bail.
Over the last few years, Sizemore, 47, has developed a troubled history with the law. In August 2003 he was convicted of misdemeanor charges of physically abusing and harassing his ex-girlfriend, the former “Hollywood Madam” Heidi Fleiss.
Then in February of 2005 Sizemore failed a court-ordered drug test after he was caught trying to use a prosthetic penis to pass the urine test. He was ordered into drug rehabilitation for two years. Then in June 2007, after being arrested outside a Bakersfield hotel on a charge of possession of meth, Sizemore was sentenced to 16 months in prison for violating his probation.
Known for his tough-guy roles, Sizemore, who received a Golden Globe nomination for his role in the 1999 television movie “Witness Protection,” has also starred in the critically acclaimed films “Saving Private Ryan,” “Natural Born Killers” and “Black Hawk Down.”
